In the quiet when the heart remembers

The secret longing in the heart does not roar, it’s the humming of a bird resting quietly on the branch of a tree in the middle of the night. Its song are deep ,not made of words but as if the heart itself found wings and flew away, wandering in search of the reason never known but unmistakably felt.

You can’t hear it ,it’s in the silence, felt in the shivers crossing your skin, in the quiet ache deep within yourself .It says nothing, yet you know what it means, lingers on with you like a memory that doesn’t fade away.

This yearning, this strange unshakeable pull shows up like an uninvited guest. It arrives in hush, suddenly like a dream you woke up with ,confusing you to think what your reality might be .Its like the haunting howl of a lone wolf crying into the night, it echoes in the far reaches of the soul.

It doesn't have any logical explanation. It remains undefined. You can't track it back to a moment or attribute it to a reason. It simply is permanent. Unwavering. An inferno that never quite takes hold, but never goes out.

And at midnight, when the world withdraws, when the diversions recede and only the heart remains, you feel it more strongly. A connection. Distant and close. Actual and unreachable. As if your heart recalls something your mind can’t comprehend .

Do they feel it too?

You wonder. And in the wondering, there is loveliness. A kind of tearing that spills over you to the brink of not weeping, but a deep silent breath….

This yearning is not seasonal. It has no beginning and no anticipation of conclusion. It's an endless silence. A love, or a knowing, that says nothing about tomorrow but it  exists like  an unspoken promise.

And even when there is no justification for this, even if you never see them, or pronounce their name, it feels close. Its not a romance in the traditional sense, but a deeper pull or mysterious ache for something or someone not fully known, yet unmistakably felt and understood.

And that is enough to make the heart sing.
